Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Novak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergai Poujanofski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergai Poujanofski has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Aleksander Novak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Sergai Poujanofski! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poujanofski drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Poujanofski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Novak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Poujanofski decides to stand back up. Poujanofski steps back and let's Novak get back to his feet. Novak dips to his left and cracks Poujanofski with an uppercut! Poujanofski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Poujanofski lands in his opponent's guard. Novak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Poujanofski on the ground. Novak keeping full guard, as Poujanofski tries to pass. Novak looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Novak wriggles free and stands up. Poujanofski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Poujanofski lands in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Novak trying to keep a closed guard but Poujanofski is proving a slippery customer.
Novak wants to stand but Poujanofski is controlling the position. Novak looking for a sweep. Not yet Novak, not yet. Poujanofski working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Poujanofski lands a couple of decent looking shots. Poujanofski passes Novak's left leg - he's now in half guard. Poujanofski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Novak is looking to control Poujanofski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Novak avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Novak tries to roll over but Poujanofski keeps him under control. Poujanofski is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Novak sees it coming and defends easily. Novak wants to get back to full guard but Poujanofski has passed into side control. Novak is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poujanofski lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Poujanofski working for a guillotine from mount but Novak is in no mood to give up. Poujanofski looks gassed! Poujanofski looking to secure an arm triangle but Novak defends it well. Ooooh, that looks tight… Novak is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Novak and Poujanofski has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Novak struggling a bit here. Novak is looking to regain half guard here but Poujanofski keeps moving and retains side control. Novak is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Poujanofski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Novak is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Poujanofski's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergai Poujanofski dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Poujanofski scores with a takedown into Novak's guard. Novak will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Poujanofski has gone for a leg lock! Novak slips out almost immediately though and dives into Poujanofski's guard. Novak trying to control the position from guard on top but Poujanofski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Poujanofski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Novak is aware though and is defending well. Poujanofski keeping moving, preventing Novak from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poujanofski thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Novak trying to control but Poujanofski is working from the bottom. Novak trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Novak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poujanofski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Novak has managed to get both his arms back between Poujanofski's legs - danger averted. Poujanofski working for a triangle but Novak defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Novak trying to control but Poujanofski is working from the bottom. Poujanofski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Poujanofski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Novak defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Poujanofski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Novak is aware though and is defending well.

Sergai Poujanofski has got the better of the ground game so far. Poujanofski is looking for a triangle but Novak pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Poujanofski keeping full guard, as Novak tries to pass. Novak wants to get up but he can't break Poujanofski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Poujanofski is looking to sinch up a triangle. Novak throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Poujanofski's body to avoid the submission. Poujanofski has instead reached around Novak's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Poujanofski arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
