Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fox Turner! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Lesnar does no damage. Turner scores a takedown into full mount! A nice elbow there by Turner.
Lesnar is rocked! Turner looking to control and managing it successfully. Oh Lesnar is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Lesnar seems to have got his legs back now. Lesnar keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lesnar could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Turner content just to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar tries to hold on but Turner pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner controlling from mount. Lesnar throwing hammer fists to the chest of Turner. What's that going to do exactly? Turner controlling the pace for now. Turner breaks from Lesnar's wrist control and lands an elbow. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Turner cracks Lesnar with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Turner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Turner looking to control and managing it successfully. Turner landing strikes from the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner looking to control and managing it successfully. Lesnar tries to hold on but Turner pushes him away. Turner is in the full mount, landing strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Turner raining down shots from the mount! Turner controlling the position easily from mount.
Despite being in the dominant position, Fox Turner just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice sprawl there from Lesnar as Turner shoots in. Lesnar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lesnar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lesnar is breathing heavily. Turner slips a jab and a cross from Lesnar.
Lesnar avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar throws a one two combo.
Turner drives through with a takedown into guard. Turner controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Turner has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Lesnar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Turner manages to get himself to full guard.
Lesnar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Turner's head. Lesnar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Turner is keeping the position for now. Turner is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Lesnar wanted to stand there but Turner had control of the position. Lesnar wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar stands up from Turner's guard - Lesnar perhaps looking for a knockout. Lesnar moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Turner is rocked!
It looks like Fox Turner has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lesnar throws a combination that misses and Turner counters with a shoot takedown. Lesnar fights it but they end up in guard. Turner is still in real trouble! Can Lesnar finish him? Turner trying to control but Lesnar is working from the bottom. Lesnar manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Lesnar lands with a big right hook that stumbles Turner - he's out on his feet here! Lesnar follows up with another monster hook that separates Turner from consciousness! Turner falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Lesnar stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Adam Lesnar!
