And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Niro takes a swing at Mandela's ribcage but misses.
Mandela scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mandela stands up.
Robert De Niro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mandela doesn't manage to clinch there - De Niro circles away.
De Niro fails with the takedown
and Mandela counters with a shoot takedown. De Niro fights it but they end up in guard.

Mandela postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! De Niro is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mandela, into his guard.

De Niro is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mandela defends it well.
Mandela is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of De Niro's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take De Niro's back!

Mandela is persistently looking for the submission but De Niro is defending it well.

Mandela is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but De Niro is surviving well by controlling Mandela's body position as best he can.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mandela cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jeez, Robert De Niro's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Robert De Niro's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
