The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwan keeps the fight on the outside.
Kwan really is a fat lump.
Apple lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kwan circles away quickly and effectively.
Apple tries to clinch there but Kwan circles away.
Apple throws a series of punches but Kwan avoids them all with ease.
Apple throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kwan.
Apple misses with the combination.
Horrible takedown by Kwan or perhaps it was just good defense by Apple which made him look bad.
Apple is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Apple misses with a two punch combination.

Apple moves into the clinch.
Kwan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Apple walks away with a smile on his face. Kwan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kwan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Apple swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bai Kwan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Apple misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kwan tries to clinch but Apple moves out of range.
Apple throws a hook but Kwan avoids it easily.
Apple misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kwan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Apple counters with a crisp one two that drops Kwan! Apple thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kwan to his feet! Kwan is in big trouble!
Kwan is breathing heavily.

Apple throws an uppercut from hell that sends Kwan clean off his feet! He's out cold! Apple stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
