Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brynrolf Fahnskhap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gregory Montoya! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montoya swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Montoya looks to score with a jab to the body but Fahnskhap is just out of range. Fahnskhap takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Montoya slips a jab from Fahnskhap. Montoya takes a swing at Fahnskhap's ribcage but misses. Fahnskhap throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Montoya tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fahnskhap was well out of range. Poor timing from Montoya. Fahnskhap is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Montoya misses with a body shot.
Montoya throws out a loose jab but Fahnskhap uses good head movement to avoid it. Fahnskhap moves in looking to clinch but Montoya pushes him off. Fahnskhap shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Montoya has his feet on Fahnskhap's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Montoya on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Montoya shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fahnskhap is pressing down on Montoya's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fahnskhap has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Montoya is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fahnskhap. Fahnskhap parries the strikes from Montoya easily there. Montoya is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fahnskhap to escape.

Montoya is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Montoya bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fahnskhap's guard. Montoya postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fahnskhap lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Montoya!

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Fahnskhap keeping moving, preventing Montoya from controlling successfully. Montoya drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Montoya jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brynrolf Fahnskhap. I think Fahnskhap has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fight is ruled a draw! Brynrolf Fahnskhap retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
