Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Roberts! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roberts looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Victor looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ground and pound from Roberts. Roberts not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Roberts not landing any meaningful shots this time. Roberts not landing any meaningful shots this time. Victor blocking the ground and pound attempt from Roberts. Roberts thows a huge punch but Victor dodges it nicely.
Victor is looking for a sweep. Roberts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Victor regains full guard. Nicely done. Roberts distracts Victor with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Victor looking for a sweep. Not yet Victor, not yet. Roberts with a flurry of punches that miss. Roberts working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Victor's head. Victor preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Victor has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Victor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Roberts has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Roberts is looking to work some ground and pound but Victor has wrist control. Roberts connects with a couple of short punches. Victor had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roberts defends it easily. Roberts missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Roberts throwing strikes from guard but Victor blocks nicely. Roberts working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Roberts is looking to work some ground and pound but Victor has wrist control. Victor looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roberts throwing strikes from guard but Victor blocks nicely. Roberts trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Roberts is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Victor has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Roberts is looking to defend but Victor has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Roberts! Victor pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Roberts taps out and this one is all over!
