Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Royal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justun wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justun wood told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royal throws and low kick but wood moves out of range easily.
wood on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Royal fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but wood avoids it really well and circles away.
Royal moves in looking to clinch but wood pushes him off.
wood stuffs the takedown.
Royal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A punch combination from Royal misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Royal.

wood wants to control the pace but Royal is squirming around nicely.
Royal has left one of his arms exposed and wood doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Royal screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
