Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zeus Olympus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Matos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathan Matos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zeus Olympus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Matos! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olympus misses with a double jab.
Olympus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matos circles away quickly and effectively. Matos throws a head kick but Olympus moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Matos shoots in but Olympus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matos shoots in and drives through. Olympus sprawls well. Matos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Olympus pinned against the cage. Olympus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Zeus Olympus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Matos.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Matos misses with a head kick.

and Olympus counters with a good low kick that Matos was not able to check. Matos misses with a takedown and Olympus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olympus misses with a two punch combination.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Olympus lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zeus Olympus dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Olympus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

It looks like Zeus Olympus has been cut. Matos throws a sloppy head kick and Olympus counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Olympus misses with a combination

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Matos throws a sloppy head kick letting Olympus counter with a right hand.

and Matos lands a stunning uppercut that sends Olympus to the mat!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Matos stands up from half guard. Matos slips under a jab from Olympus. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Matos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Zeus Olympus's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Olympus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Matos throws a big shot that misses. Matos looks to land a right hand but Olympus moved out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olympus falls off balance throwing a combination
and Matos counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Olympus down! Matos is looking to finish but Olympus is intelligently defending himself. Oh Olympus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olympus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Matos is one step ahead there. Olympus seems to have got his legs back now. Olympus is working hard here to advance position. Olympus has a closed guard, preventing Matos from standing up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Matos stands up from guard. Let's bang! A big right from Olympus misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Nathan Matos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Matos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
