The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apollo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Apollo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Burrows moves into the clinch.
Burrows swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Apollo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Apollo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Burrows looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Burrows closes the distance and pushes Apollo back into the cage.
Apollo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Burrows has him pressed against the cage.
Burrows breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Burrows counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Burrows looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Apollo is fending him off so far but Burrows persists. Nope, Apollo circles away and we're back to standing.
Burrows tries to close the distance and clinch up but Apollo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Burrows tries to clinch up but Apollo circles away and keeps his distance.

Apollo leaves Burrows with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ryan Apollo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saffron Burrows.
Burrows has managed to clinch.
Burrows is trying to force a seperation but Apollo has the dominant position.
Apollo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Burrows has him pressed against the cage.
Apollo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Burrows.
Burrows tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Burrows wants a takedown but no success here.
Apollo is pressed up against the cage. Burrows has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Apollo down to the mat. Apollo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Burrows drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Burrows gets to mount! Apollo was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Apollo is looking to improve his position but Burrows isn't that keen on the idea.
Apollo is in a horrible position here. Burrows smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saffron Burrows dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Apollo lands a left and a right that send Burrows crashing to the mat, dazed. Apollo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Burrows is rocked!
It looks like Saffron Burrows has been cut.
Apollo jabs Burrows right on the nose. Burrows blinks but takes it well.
Burrows is still on wobbly legs! Can Apollo finish him?
A slow jab from Apollo misses its intended target.
Apollo cracks Burrows with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Burrows tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Apollo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Burrows is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Apollo!
