The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George takes one on the button.
George will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice body punch from Lang.
Lang misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from George.
Lang misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
George throws a series of punches but Lang avoids them all with ease.
Lang misses the shot to the body.
A punch lands to the side of George 's head but he takes it in his stride.
George takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
George keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lang closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lang throws a shot from downtown. George moves away and avoids it.
George rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lang throws an overhand right that lands on George's shoulder, as George tries to avoid the shot.
Lang tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd cheers as Lang lands an impressive looking overhand right. George doesn't seem phased though.
George fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but George manages to avoid it.

George looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lang throws a left and a right that both miss
and George counters with a nice body shot.
George misses with a double jab
and Lang counters with a body kick that stops George in his tracks momentarily.
Good shot there by Lang.
Lang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by George.
Lang lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
George is breathing heavily.
George tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lang sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten George somewhat.
Lang thuds his right hand into George's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
James Lang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
George changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lang tries to avoid it but George manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lang to the ground. Lang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edwardson George. That's going to take a lot out of him.
George doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lang tests George's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for George. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lang lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Lang throws a shot to the body.
Lang is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! George had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
George takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lang misses with a series of wild punches.
Lang lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Lang drops George with a beautiful combination! George stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lang is looking for the KO!
Lang lands a hook that stumbles George back into the cage. Lang follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping George to the canvas! Lang pounces and lands several unanswered shots - George has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
