Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Spat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jim crow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). crow comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Audioslave- Cohise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Spat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, jim crow! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spat leaves crow with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Spat shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in crow's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. crow wants to stand but Spat is controlling the position. Spat stays in close to crow's body and controls the position. Spat works a leg free and moves into half guard. Spat moves into full mount! crow won't be happy about that! Spat working for a submission but crow is keeping him at bay. Spat looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. crow is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

crow looks gassed! Spat has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of crow's face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spat is going oldschool here, as he tries to force crow to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so crow shrugs it off. Spat working for a guillotine from mount but crow is in no mood to give up. That's two minutes gone in the round. crow's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Spat scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Spat will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. This has been an exciting period of action! crow defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Spat. Spat has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! crow is forced to tap!
