A telegraphed takedown attempt from Emmagan is defended easily by The Thrill.
The Thrill displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Emmagan.

Emmagan shoots in for a double leg but The Thrill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The Thrill drops Emmagan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Emmagan looks back up at him and smiles so The Thrill waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

John Emmagan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Emmagan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from The Thrill.
Emmagan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The Thrill throws a lazy right hand but Emmagan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Emmagan seems to have recovered his senses.

Emmagan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Emmagan walks straight into a right hand from The Thrill - that's dropped him! The Thrill jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Emmagan from any more punishment! Emmagan complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
