Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Alb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laurent Tsadyleba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alb comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Alb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Laurent Tsadyleba! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsadyleba will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tsadyleba takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tsadyleba shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alb as he jumps to the side. Tsadyleba tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alb paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tsadyleba shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alb defends it nicely. Ryan Alb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Laurent Tsadyleba. Alb feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Alb not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Alb seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tsadyleba for as long as he can get away with.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Tsadyleba keeping full guard, as Alb tries to pass. Tsadyleba will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Alb is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tsadyleba has escaped the position, nice work there. Tsadyleba is looking to regain half guard here but Alb keeps moving and retains side control. Tsadyleba is trying to control Alb's posture but Alb avoids it. A lull in the action here as Alb stalls from top position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ryan Alb just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Alb shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tsadyleba manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tsadyleba is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Alb is controlling Tsadyleba's position as best he can from this difficult position. Tsadyleba wants to free his trapped foot but Alb is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Tsadyleba throwing shots but Alb is blocking nicely. Tsadyleba tries to pass to full mount but Alb defends it. Alb is holding on to half guard well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tsadyleba doesn't succeed with the takedown and Alb counters with a shoot takedown. Tsadyleba fights it but they end up in guard. Alb is pushing down on Tsadyleba's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tsadyleba is fighting to maintain full guard but Alb has managed to sneak the leg through. Alb frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Tsadyleba is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tsadyleba tries to control Alb's body but Alb pushes him off. Tsadyleba squirms to his side and now Alb has his back! Alb biding his time, controlling Tsadyleba. Tsadyleba looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Alb has good solid back control here.

That could mean trouble for Tsadyleba! Alb controlling the position easily from mount. Tsadyleba is trying to escape the mount.
Tsadyleba is breathing heavily. Alb controlling his opponent. Tsadyleba wants to control but Alb is having none of it.

Ryan Alb dominated that second round. That's time! Alb's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ryan Alb overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Alb has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Tsadyleba didn't expect that. Alb sitting in guard, not really doing much. Alb wants to pass the guard but Tsadyleba is keeping the position. Alb not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tsadyleba keeping moving, preventing Alb from controlling successfully. Tsadyleba wants to hit a switch here but Alb passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tsadyleba there!

Alb controls the position. Tsadyleba looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tsadyleba fails with the takedown and Alb counters with a takedown into side control. Tsadyleba takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tsadyleba being controlled for a moment. Alb is putting a hurting on Tsadyleba here, landing some big shots from side control. Alb is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Alb showed his dominance in that final round. Well Alb has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
