Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Makaay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dizzee Rascal- Where's da g's?. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Makaay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Head!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makaay scores with a body shot.
Head ducks under a wild hook from Makaay.
Head slips a jab and a cross from Makaay.
Makaay lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Head sprawling to the canvas. Makaay follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Head hang on?
Head is rocked!
Makaay passes the guard and advances to mount!
Head is still in real trouble! Can Makaay finish him?
Makaay breaks from Head's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Makaay looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Head flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Head regains half guard.
Head seems to have recovered his senses.
Head is looking to get back to full guard here but Makaay has managed to pass to side control instead.
Makaay lands a big elbow.
Makaay wants to finish this one by submission but Head is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Makaay.
Head really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Head regains half guard.

Makaay is nestled in close to Head, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Head wants to improve his position but Makaay is controlling well.
Head wants to sweep but Makaay has passed to side control!
Head is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Head looks gassed!
Makaay working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Makaay landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Makaay scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Head to see if he's OK.
Head is trying to improve his position.
Makaay passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Head!

Head tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Makaay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Makaay is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Head tries to hold on but Makaay pushes him away.
Makaay has hold of Head's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Head manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Makaay putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Head tries to lock up and control but Makaay gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Makaay lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Makaay working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Head wants to control but Makaay is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Makaay looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Head is looking to improve his position but Makaay isn't that keen on the idea.
Makaay is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Head is surviving well by controlling Makaay's body position as best he can.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Makaay throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Head has his hands clasped together but Makaay breaks the hold and Head is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Makaay!
