The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin ducks under a wild hook from Levenstein.

Franklin clinches.
Franklin has Levenstein pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Levenstein manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Franklin has closed the distance and engaged Levenstein in a clinch.
Franklin misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Levenstein is trying to force a seperation but Franklin has the dominant position.

Levenstein wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Franklin has him pressed against the cage.

Franklin works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Levenstein throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Levenstein is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Franklin's shoulder. That is not cool.
Franklin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Levenstein's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Levenstein seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Franklin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Franklin is not content to let Levenstein control the position.
Franklin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Levenstein is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Levenstein smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Levenstein rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Franklin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Franklin moves in looking to clinch but Levenstein pushes him off.
No joy there for Levenstein, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Levenstein works Franklin's body with a nice hook.
Levenstein tries to land a front kick but Franklin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Levenstein tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Franklin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Franklin doesn't manage to clinch there - Levenstein circles away.
Levenstein dips to his left and cracks Franklin with an uppercut!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Franklin avoids a kick to the body.
Levenstein swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Levenstein lands a nice hook to Franklin's body. Franklin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Franklin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Levenstein moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Levenstein connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Levenstein connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Franklin out cold! This one is over in a flash!
