Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Spitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and beej dem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dem has chosen born unknown as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Spitz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, beej dem! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spitz fails to land with a series of punches.
dem throws a right and a left that both miss. A swing and a miss from Spitz. Spitz misses with a combination
enabling dem to counter with a crisp jab. Spitz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and dem counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. dem on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Mark Spitz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spitz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and dem counters into the clinch. Nicely done. dem pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. dem moves into the clinch. dem breaks the clinch.

Spitz falls off balance throwing a combination
and dem counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! Spitz throws a left and a right that both miss
and dem counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Spitz throws a right and a left that dem avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spitz falls off balance throwing a combination
and dem counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Spitz looks to land a left hand but dem moved out of range nicely. Spitz misses with a double jab
and dem counters by moving into the clinch. dem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fighters circling - Spitz throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Spitz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Spitz misses with a double jab
and dem counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by dem. Spitz is breathing heavily. Spitz is trying to force a seperation but dem has the dominant position. dem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

dem moves into the clinch. dem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Spitz. dem does a little dance to reset his feet. dem throws a one two combo.
This has been an exciting period of action! Spitz misses with a combination
and dem counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Spitz has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
