Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jin Sen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franjo Schwager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Faithless - Insomnia . Jin Sen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Sen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Franjo Schwager! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Schwager is fending him off so far but Sen persists. Nope, Schwager circles away and we're back to standing. Nice takedown defense from Schwager. No joy for Sen on that attempt. A combination from Schwager does no damage. Schwager looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sen tries to get out of the position. Schwager wants to stand up but Sen is controlling the position.
Sen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Schwager's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Schwager's back! Even with his hooks in, Sen manages to miss with strikes from the back. Sen trying to control momentarily.
Sen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sen is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Schwager wants to get back to his feet. Sen really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Schwager. Sen is looking for the choke from the back position but Schwager is controlling his hands well. Schwager holding both Sen 's hands and preventing any damage. Sen misses with a punch to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwager has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Sen. Schwager is trying to get back to his feet but Sen has full control of the position and if anything, Schwager has just worked his way into a worse spot. Sen misses with a punch to the head. Schwager looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Schwager fending off the submission attempt from Sen. Schwager really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sen is breathing heavily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sen is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Schwager holding both Sen 's hands and preventing any damage. Schwager defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Schwager wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Franjo Schwager will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sen shoots for a double leg takedown but Schwager sprawls well. He's pushed Sen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Schwager changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Sen is looking to clinch but Schwager is avoiding it.

Schwager keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schwager tries to avoid it but Sen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schwager to the ground. Schwager escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jin Sen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Schwager.

It looks like Jin Sen has been cut. No joy there for Schwager, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Schwager will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Schwager moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Sen goes down! Can Schwager finish him!?
Sen is rocked! Sen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sen has a closed guard, preventing Schwager from standing up. Oh Sen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Schwager stands up from Sen's guard - Schwager perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sen avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sen seems to have got his legs back now. Schwager swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A combination from Schwager does no damage. Schwager scores with a sloppy right hand. Sen should have avoided that one. Schwager swats away the attempt to clinch by Sen. Schwager throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Schwager throws a right and a left that Sen avoids nicely. Franjo Schwager seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schwager defends it nicely. Sen shoots in for a takedown but Schwager shows good takedown defense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Schwager rushes Sen and presses him up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Schwager's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sen is trying to break free. Sen is looking to break free of the clinch but Schwager has double underhooks. Sen misses with an elbow over the top. Sen looking for a takedown. Sen pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Schwager breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Schwager's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Schwager duly obliges.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Schwager sprawls well. Schwager wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sen gets slowly back to his feet. Schwager waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sen. Sen slips a jab and a cross from Schwager.
A punch combination from Schwager misses. Sen wants to clinch and Schwager counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sen! Sen can't escape the position.
Schwager looking to control but Sen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Schwager controlling his opponent. Schwager can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sen is looking to escape.

Franjo Schwager showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jin Sen's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schwager dives in and grabs Sen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sen pushes down on Schwager's head and hops out. A combination from Schwager does no damage. Sen doesn't succeed with the takedown and Schwager holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sen is trying to force a seperation but Schwager has the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwager pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Schwager jabbing away but nothing is landing. Schwager throws a right and a left that both miss. Schwager looks to land a combination but Sen avoids it well. Sen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schwager sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sen somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jin Sen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schwager misses with a few strikes there.
Schwager throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sen. Sen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Schwager's hands. Sen is looking to clinch but Schwager is avoiding it.

and Schwager counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Schwager in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwager wants to pass to mount but Sen is defending the position. Sen tries to kick Schwager off but Schwager keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Schwager is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Sen manages to get to full guard. Sen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Schwager is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwager wanted to stand there but Sen had control of the position. Sen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Schwager drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Schwager wants to stand but Sen is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwager must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Schwager stacks Sen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Schwager! Franjo Schwager is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Schwager is looking to take a break and control but Sen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jin Sen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sen throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Franjo Schwager comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Schwager has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
