Canonfodder jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tiernan walks away with a smile on his face. Canonfodder gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Canonfodder swats away the attempt to clinch by Tiernan.

and Tiernan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Luscious Canonfodder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Canonfodder throws a hook but Tiernan blocks it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tiernan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Canonfodder has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Canonfodder and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Canonfodder tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tiernan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tiernan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Tiernan counters with a head kick. That will keep Canonfodder thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Canonfodder throws a hook to the side of Tiernan's head but Tiernan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Canonfodder thows a body shot but no joy.
Tiernan connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Canonfodder tumbling to the canvas! Tiernan pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Canonfodder was done - good stoppage!
