Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Claude Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson misses the shot to the body.
A slow jab from Thompson misses its intended target.
Alves scores with a jab to the body.
Thompson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alves circles away quickly and effectively.
Alves changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Alves cracks Thompson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Alves closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Alves scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Thompson doesn't seem bothered though.
Claude Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thompson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Thompson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Thompson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Alves couldn't care less - he's delighted!
