Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quer Tajik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Nakahara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quer Tajik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shinji Nakahara!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tajik has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Nakahara.
Nakahara checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Tajik tries to bum rush Nakahara with a series of wild strikes but Nakahara uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tajik throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tajik fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nakahara tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tajik throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nakahara keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tajik tries to clinch but Nakahara is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nakahara gets a takedown into half guard.
Nakahara wants to stand up but Tajik is controlling the position.
Nakahara missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Nakahara prevents Tajik from improving his position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nakahara with the ground and pound but Tajik uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Nakahara is pushing down on Tajik's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tajik is fighting to maintain full guard but Nakahara has managed to sneak the leg through.
Tajik gets full guard.
Tajik is striking from the bottom but Nakahara uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nakahara wants to stand up but Tajik is controlling the position.
Tajik trying to hold on to Nakahara's head to control him but Nakahara postures up.
Nakahara stands up and beckons Tajik to join him on the feet.
Nakahara closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tajik circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tajik scores with a one two! Nakahara had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Shinji Nakahara has been cut.
Tajik swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tajik wants to clinch up but Nakahara keeps it at a distance.
Nakahara changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tajik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nakahara tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nakahara looks gassed!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shinji Nakahara dominated that round.

That's time! Tajik's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tajik with a poor takedown
and Nakahara counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tajik won't be happy with that.
You can see the frustration on Tajik's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tajik manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Tajik is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tajik is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nakahara wants to get back to full guard.
Tajik is pressing down on Nakahara's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nakahara is holding on for now.
Tajik looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nakahara has a hand on Tajik's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Tajik takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Tajik is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Nakahara is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Nakahara flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Tajik anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Nakahara and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Tajik slips an arm under Nakahara chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Tajik has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Tajik is squeezing on Nakahara like an anaconda would it's prey. Nakahara fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Quer Tajik!
