Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chip McAllister!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAllister slaps away a takedown attempt from Dean, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dean throws a solid leg kick but McAllister takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dean.
Dean keeps the fight on the outside.
McAllister has his takedown stuffed

and Dean counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McAllister's guard now.
McAllister is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dean pushes down on McAllister's leg and manages to get into half guard.
McAllister is trying to get back to full guard.
Dean passes to side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dean in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dean trying to control the position but McAllister is working away.
Dean looking to punish the body of his opponent here but McAllister is avoiding damage well.

Dean wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McAllister, who protects the arm well.
McAllister is trying to improve his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McAllister wants to control but Dean postures up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McAllister fails with the takedown

and Dean counters with a shoot takedown. McAllister fights it but they end up in guard.
McAllister is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dean is controlling him.
Dean is looking to work some ground and pound but McAllister has wrist control.
Dean forces his way into half guard.
McAllister slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dean passes into half guard.
Dean has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dean controlling the action here.

Dean throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
McAllister makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McAllister.
Dean working some strikes from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dean postures up.
Dean looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Dean stands up over McAllister, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Dean missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
McAllister wants to get back to his feet but Dean is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dean stands and throws McAllister's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dean trying to control the action but McAllister is working from the bottom.
The strikes coming from Dean are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Dean trying to control the position but McAllister is working away.
McAllister tries to bench press Dean off him but Dean keeps the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McAllister is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
McAllister keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and McAllister counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dean's guard now.
McAllister thows a big elbow that misses.

Dean is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Eddie Dean overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dean wants to sweep but no luck.
McAllister trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dean lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McAllister!

McAllister is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Dean locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! McAllister is forced to tap!
