Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Karlberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wells has chosen Heckone, Dmente& Noux - Y si los sueños caen as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells stuns Karlberg with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Karlberg lands a lovely overhand right.
Wells avoids the body shot from Karlberg.
Wells takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Karlberg cracks Wells with a good jab.
Karlberg avoids the body shot from Wells.
Karlberg scores with a one two! Wells had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wells connects with a nice looking jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed right hand from Karlberg misses the target.
Wells's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Wells duly obliges.
Wells throws a hook but Karlberg blocks it.
Wells thows a left - swing and a miss!
Karlberg misses with a straight right.
Karlberg looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wells is fending him off so far but Karlberg persists. Nope, Wells circles away and we're back to standing.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wells.
Wells has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Karlberg finds it's way round the side to connect with Wells's head.
Wells misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fighters circling - Wells throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Karlberg moves into the clinch.
Karlberg trying to control the position but instead, Wells has worked for underhooks and has pushed Karlberg into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wells scores with a shoulder strike.
Karlberg tries to pull guard but Wells holds him up against the cage and eventually Karlberg drops back down to his feet.
Karlberg is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Karlberg works on Wells's body with a couple of short punches.
Karlberg is trying to break free.
Karlberg prevents Wells from breaking the clinch.
Wells wants to break the clinch but can't.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Karlberg wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wells has him pressed against the cage.

Wells breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Karlberg fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wells takes a kick to the side of the head.
Karlberg lands with a right hand.
Karlberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Wells is just out of range.
Karlberg throws a right hand that Wells ducks under and follows up with a left that Wells also avoids with ease.
Wells swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Karlberg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wells throws a wild body kick that Karlberg sees coming a mile off.
Wells misses with a double jab

and Karlberg moves into the clinch.

Wells pulls guard successfully.
Karlberg postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wells wants to sweep here but Karlberg controlling him for the moment.

Karlberg is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Karlberg has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wells is proving hard to escape from.

Karlberg is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wells is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wells has escaped and now he's on top!
Karlberg utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Wells is looking to stand up but Karlberg won't let him.

Wells stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Karlberg throws up his legs and catches Wells in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Wells tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Karlberg! That came out of nowhere!
