Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Beastie boys - Sabotage as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy McNulty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Lee! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McNulty. Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet. McNulty swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A big right from Lee misses. McNulty scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lee trying to hold on to McNulty's head to control him but McNulty postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McNulty sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though. Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McNulty is working away from the top position though. McNulty prevents Lee from improving his position. McNulty decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McNulty circles away quickly and effectively. Lee throws out a loose jab but McNulty uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee throws a shot from downtown. McNulty moves away and avoids it. Lee needs to keep his hands up - McNulty had a free shot at his head there. Lee misses with a jab to the body
and McNulty counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lee's guard now. Lee looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McNulty throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom. McNulty throws a big right hand that misses. McNulty throwing strikes but missing. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. McNulty working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Lee keeping moving, preventing McNulty from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee has McNulty pulled in close to control his posture. McNulty in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. McNulty throws a big right hand that misses. McNulty postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McNulty accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lee can do anything to dispel that myth. Lee is controlling McNulty's posture.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A jab from McNulty misses. Lee ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. McNulty thows a body shot but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McNulty blocks a jab. Lee throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McNulty counters into the clinch. Nicely done. McNulty breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McNulty uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lee has time to react. McNulty misses with a shot to the body and Lee counters with a two punch combo. Lee scores with a takedown into McNulty's guard. Lee wants to control from the top but McNulty keeps moving. Lee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but McNulty is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to control from the top but McNulty keeps moving. McNulty has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Lee's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy McNulty dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lee takes a body punch but keeps moving. McNulty digs a good hook to Lee's body.
McNulty jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Peter Lee has been cut. McNulty misses the shot to the body. McNulty scores with a punch to the head. McNulty fails with a takedown attempt. Lee misses with a body shot.
Horrible takedown by McNulty or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee which made him look bad. McNulty has Lee up against the cage in a clinch.
McNulty's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of McNulty backwards. Lee gets through McNulty's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. McNulty tries to stall but Lee uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
McNulty pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. McNulty gets the takedown into side control. Lee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McNulty wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. McNulty tries to score with some ground and pound. Lee controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Lee tries to buck McNulty off but McNulty is having none of it. Lee struggling a bit here. McNulty misses with the ground and pound. McNulty throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. McNulty lands a few punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee is not content to let McNulty control the position. Lee tries to bench press McNulty off him but McNulty keeps the position. McNulty trying to control the position but Lee is working away. McNulty working the ground and pound. McNulty throws an elbow but Lee slips to the side and avoids it well. Lee is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lee is breathing heavily. Lee wants to get back to his feet but McNulty drags him back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McNulty lands some shots froms side control. Lee on the wrong end of some ground and pound. McNulty stands up and we're back to a striking position. McNulty changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. McNulty scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ground and pound from McNulty seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Sloppy strikes there by McNulty. Lee regains half guard there - taking advantage of McNulty's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. McNulty throwing shots but Lee is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McNulty tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lee is trying to maintain the position but McNulty is very close to passing his half guard. McNulty with the ground and pound but Lee uses the opportunity to regain guard. McNulty postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McNulty content to stall in guard here. McNulty scoring with punches to the head and body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy McNulty dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Peter Lee's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Lee misses with a jab to the body
and McNulty makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. McNulty fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lee on the side of the head. Peter Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McNulty lands a jab-cross combination. Lee catches McNulty with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Lee walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Lee moves out of range as McNulty strikes. McNulty keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McNulty throws a good cross that connects.
McNulty wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. McNulty just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McNulty shoots and misses letting Lee counter with a right hand. McNulty misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McNulty shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy McNulty. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee wants to clinch but McNulty slips to the side and McNulty counters with a right hand to the body. Lee drops his hands momentarily and McNulty takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. McNulty shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense. McNulty fails with the takedown. McNulty is looking to wear down Lee with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. McNulty lands a jab to the nose. McNulty changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lee regains half guard. McNulty looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. McNulty thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lee's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee is trying to stand up here but McNulty is controlling him well. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McNulty connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple. McNulty wants to free his trapped foot but Lee is holding on for dear life with his legs. Lee is refusing to be controlled, as McNulty sits in half guard. Lee is trying to control but can't.
McNulty working over Lee with some ground and pound. Lee looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. McNulty is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McNulty lands with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Lee.
McNulty lands a nice shot to the body.
McNulty wants to clinch. McNulty is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lee missing with a left hand there. McNulty was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Peter Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jimmy McNulty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McNulty stuns Lee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. McNulty just misses with a punch to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. McNulty moves out of range as Lee strikes. McNulty misses with an uppercut. McNulty slips a straight right by Lee. McNulty shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lee sprawls well. Lee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McNulty gets slowly back to his feet. McNulty fails to land with a series of punches.
Jimmy McNulty is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. McNulty tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McNulty looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lee! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee wants to hold on but McNulty pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy McNulty showed his dominance in that final round. Well McNulty has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
