Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kors Svardet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Rerbeto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rerbeto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Blink 182-Stay Together For The Kids. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kors Svardet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tony Rerbeto! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Svardet shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rerbeto as he avoids it easily. Rerbeto scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Svardet misses with a double jab.
Tony Rerbeto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rerbeto looks to throw the jab but Svardet is out of range. Rerbeto gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Svardet to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rerbeto is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Svardet trying to control but Rerbeto is working from the bottom. Svardet trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rerbeto kicks Svardet off and gets to his feet. Svardet waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rerbeto.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rerbeto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Svardet has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rerbeto is proving hard to escape from. Rerbeto is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rerbeto kicks Svardet off and gets to his feet. Left hook, right uppercut from Svardet.
It looks like Tony Rerbeto has been cut. Rerbeto tries to clinch up but Svardet circles away and keeps his distance. The fight moves into the clinch position. Rerbeto lands a knee to the body.
Svardet looking for a takedown. Rerbeto lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Rerbeto lands a good knee to the midsection. Svardet won't want to take too many of those. Svardet has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rerbeto regains guard immediately. Svardet is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Svardet won't allow Rerbeto to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Svardet trying to control the position from guard on top but Rerbeto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rerbeto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Svardet is controlling him. Rerbeto is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Svardet makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Svardet is in close to Rerbeto's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rerbeto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rerbeto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Svardet paws at him with a jab and circles away. Svardet avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rerbeto looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Rerbeto stands up out of the half guard. No joy there for Svardet, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rerbeto looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A head kick misses from Svardet. Svardet scores with a three punch combo!
Svardet looks for a takedown but Rerbeto sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kors Svardet. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rerbeto slips a jab from Svardet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Svardet shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rerbeto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Svardet tries to stand but Rerbeto is controlling from the bottom. Rerbeto has his feet on Svardet's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Rerbeto has closed the distance and engaged Svardet in a clinch.
Svardet wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rerbeto has him pressed against the cage. Svardet is leaning against Rerbeto and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Rerbeto landing knees to the head.

Rerbeto is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Svardet is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Svardet goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rerbeto prevents it.

That was a close round but I would say that Kors Svardet will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tony Rerbeto's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Svardet closes the distance and clinches up with Rerbeto, looking for a takedown. Svardet pushes Rerbeto against the cage but Rerbeto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rerbeto takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rerbeto with a poor takedown and Svardet counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kors Svardet is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rerbeto closes the distance looking to clinch so Svardet counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Rerbeto scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Svardet looks to land a body kick but Rerbeto moved away. Rerbeto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Svardet swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rerbeto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Svardet's waist but Svardet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rerbeto off to one side. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Svardet throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rerbeto was covering up waiting for the punch and Svardet finishes the takedown easily into guard. Rerbeto is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Svardet decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Svardet throws a sloppy head kick and Rerbeto moves out of range easily. Svardet finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rerbeto misses with a takedown and Svardet counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kors Svardet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Rerbeto. Svardet prevents Rerbeto from getting back to his feet. Svardet trying to control but Rerbeto is working from the bottom. Svardet stops Rerbeto from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rerbeto keeping moving, preventing Svardet from controlling successfully. Svardet throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rerbeto is looking to stand up but Svardet isn't so interested in that idea. Svardet would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Svardet fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rerbeto is out of range. Rerbeto with a lazy takedown attempt and Svardet counters with a three punch combo that has Rerbeto backing up. Rerbeto nods at Svardet to acknowledge the strikes. Svardet throws a sloppy head kick and Rerbeto moves out of range easily. Svardet gets a takedown into half guard. Svardet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rerbeto keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Svardet missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Svardet trying to control the action but Rerbeto is working from the bottom. Rerbeto is trying to stand.
Rerbeto pushes Svardet off and gets back to his feet. Svardet scores with a body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rerbeto looks to clinch and Svardet counters with a single leg into guard. Rerbeto didn't expect that. Rerbeto wants to stand and escape but Svardet is having none of it. Svardet trying to control but Rerbeto is working from the bottom. Rerbeto pushes Svardet off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Rerbeto clinches but Svardet breaks the clinch and Svardet counters with a lovely straight right hand! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rerbeto rushes Svardet and presses him up against the cage. Nice body punch from Svardet - that landed with a thud.

Kors Svardet dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Tony Rerbeto's cut. That's time! Svardet's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Rerbeto is looking to stand up but Svardet isn't so interested in that idea. Svardet trying to control but Rerbeto is working from the bottom. Svardet won't allow Rerbeto to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Svardet accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Svardet is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Rerbeto is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Svardet is working to get back to half guard.
Kors Svardet is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Kors Svardet showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Svardet, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
