Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Hands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Senses Fail Saint Anthony. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buddy Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Hands!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hands listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Hands throws a low kick, looking for Nelson's leg but Nelson calmly moves out of range.
A swing and a miss from Nelson.
Hands blocks the body kick.
Nelson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hands is defended easily by Nelson.
Nelson misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hands lands a jab to the nose.
Hands is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nelson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hands feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hands cracks Nelson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Nelson is breathing heavily.
Nelson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hands in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nelson is squirming around, avoiding Hands's attempts to control the action.

Hands looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Nelson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hands.

Hands lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nelson circles away quickly and effectively.
Hands's corner calls for a 1-2. Hands obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Nelson counters with a nice body kick.
Hands connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nelson momentarily.

Hands closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well Hands has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
