Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Numbah Baller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Numbah Baller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Barry Barry!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Baller throws a head kick but Barry moves out of range.

Barry feints and as Baller raises his hands in defense, Barry changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Barry with a flurry of punches that miss.

Barry avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Baller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barry's guard.
Baller won't allow Barry to sweep him here.
Barry is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Baller wants to get back to full guard.

Barry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Barry throwing shots but Baller is blocking nicely.

Barry is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Baller is just riding it out for now. Barry eventually gives up the hold.

Baller flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Baller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Barry is looking to take a break and control but Baller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Barry scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Baller throws a nice elbow from the bottom.
Baller has momentary wrist control but Barry slips an elbow through the middle.
Baller looking for a sweep. Not yet Baller, not yet.

Baller is looking to stand up but Barry isn't so interested in that idea.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Baller doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Barry counters with a nice double leg into side control. Baller won't be happy with that.
Baller is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Barry cracks Baller with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baller keeps working.

Barry scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Baller to see if he's OK.
Oh Baller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Barry is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Baller has escaped the position, nice work there.

Barry tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barry has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barry is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Baller has escaped the position, nice work there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Barry tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Baller swivels and escapes.
Baller shoots in looking for a takedown. Barry tries to sprawl out of it but Baller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Barry avoids the head kick by Baller.
Baller fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Numbah Baller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barry stuffs the takedown attempt from Baller. Baller gets slowly back to his feet.
Baller closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barry circles away.

so Barry counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Baller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Barry chips away with some ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Barry keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Baller's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Barry wants to pass the guard but Baller is keeping the position.
Barry throws a big right hand that misses.

Barry is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Baller is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Baller has escaped and now he's on top!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Barry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Baller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Baller wants to control from the top but Barry keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barry Barry dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Barry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baller pinned against the cage. Baller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Barry avoids the head kick by Baller.
Nice takedown defense from Baller. No joy for Barry on that attempt.
Baller scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Baller stuffs the takedown.
Numbah Baller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barry Barry.

Barry circles away from the clinch attempt.
Baller lands a nice hook to Barry's body. Barry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Baller closes the distance and clinches up with Barry, looking for a takedown. Baller pushes Barry against the cage but Barry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Baller throws a right and a left that both miss.
Baller tries a head kick but it misses.
Baller pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Barry darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Baller slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Barry looking to sit in guard and control but Baller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Baller won't allow Barry to sweep him here.

Barry not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Barry should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Barry will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Barry lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Baller stands and throws Barry's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Baller is trying to control the action in half guard but Barry is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Barry controls Baller momentarily but Baller frees himself.
Barry is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Baller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Barry must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Baller kicks Barry off and gets to his feet.
Baller moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Barry counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Baller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Barry manages to get himself to full guard.

Barry doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Barry is controlling Baller's posture.
Baller wants to pass the guard but Barry is keeping the position.

Baller gets to his feet. Barry looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Numbah Baller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Baller takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Barry shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Baller is on queer street and Barry is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Barry Barry!
