PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between todd labod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and victor king (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
labod throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

king shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in labod's guard.
labod bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in king's guard.
labod prevents king from getting back to his feet.
labod is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

king feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

labod is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and king defends well.
king really doesn't want to stay on the ground with labod. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
