Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norman Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keegan Savard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bates's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hmmm... Interesting.... Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Norman Bates! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keegan Savard! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savard wants to clinch. Bates shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bates seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Bates content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Savard regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bates. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Savard wants to get back to his feet but Bates is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bates wants to pass the guard but Savard is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bates not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bates loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bates looking to pass the guard. Bates throwing strikes but missing. Bates looking to pass the guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bates shoots in and bounces Savard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Savard is trying to keep Bates in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savard wriggles free and stands up. Savard doesn't manage to clinch there - Bates circles away.
Bates swats away the attempt to clinch by Savard. Savard slips under a jab. Savard looks to throw the jab but Bates is out of range. Bates avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Savard wants to clinch. Savard takes one on the button.
It looks like Keegan Savard has been cut. Savard with a poor takedown and Bates counters with a stiff right hand. Bates swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Savard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Savard takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bates getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Savard is rocked! Bates circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Savard to the canvas! Savard doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Bates keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Norman Bates!
