Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikita Tretiak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Planety (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tretiak might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Soviet/ USSR Anthem. Planety has chosen All the right moves as his entrance music. Joe Planety will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tretiak takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Planety misses with a head kick.
Planety throws a head kick but Tretiak moves out of range.

Planety throws a lazy head kick
and Tretiak counters by clinching up.
Tretiak has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Planety is trying to keep an underhook but Tretiak manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Tretiak not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Tretiak is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Planety!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Planety is trying to stand.
Tretiak pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tretiak looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Planety covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
