PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Stearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Facekicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stearns kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is operation ground pound. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Stearns both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Dan Facekicker has been cut.
Stearns tries to land a front kick but Facekicker steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Facekicker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stearns is looking to stand up but Facekicker isn't so interested in that idea.

Facekicker gets to his feet. Stearns looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Josh Stearns is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Facekicker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stearns looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Facekicker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stearns is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Stearns regains half guard there - taking advantage of Facekicker's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Facekicker has an Americana. Stearns didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Facekicker is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Facekicker hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
