Pewterschmidt comes to the cage accompanied by 7 Words. Thompson has chosen The game as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pewterschmidt throws out a loose jab but Thompson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pewterschmidt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thompson was well out of range. Poor timing from Pewterschmidt.

Pewterschmidt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thompson avoids it really well and circles away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pewterschmidt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well Pewterschmidt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
