Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Bede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. God Hates a Coward kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas Bede! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Bundy! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bede scores with a head kick.
Bundy lands a right hook to the body.
Bundy throws a half hearted mid kick. Bundy misses with a body shot.
Bundy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Bundy looks to score with a jab to the body but Bede is just out of range. Bede loads up on a big right hand but Bundy slips the punch. Bede fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bede showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bundy.
Bundy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Bundy misses with a wild body shot. Bundy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bede was covering up waiting for the punch and Bundy finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bede looking to control.
Bundy wants to control from the top but Bede keeps moving. Bundy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bundy wants to control from the top but Bede keeps moving. Bede preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bundy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bede is trying to keep Bundy in close.
Bede wants to stand and escape but Bundy is having none of it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bundy scores with a spinning back kick! Bundy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Alan Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bundy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bede is not content to let Bundy control the position. Bede manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bede keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bundy thows a huge punch but Bede dodges it nicely.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bundy connects with a nice short shot to Bede's temple. Bundy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Bundy wants to take a breather but Bede is having none of it. Bede is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bede is trying to control but can't.
Bundy thows a huge punch but Bede dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bundy is keen to just control but Bede is a slippery customer. Bundy lands with a punch from half guard. Bundy scoring with strikes to the body and head. Bede wants to get back to his feet.
Bundy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bede doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bundy. Bede tries to roll over but Bundy keeps him under control. Bede blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bundy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bede trying to control from the bottom.
Bundy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bede does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bundy winds up and cracks Bede with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bede trying to hold on to Bundy's head to control him but Bundy postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bede uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bundy.
Bede moves out of range as Bundy throws a body kick.
Bundy dives in and grabs Bede's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bede pushes down on Bundy's head and hops out. Some wild striking there from Bundy.
Bundy throws a right and a left that both miss. Bundy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Bede tries to move into range but Bundy moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Bundy throws a body punch but Bede moves out of range. Bundy dives in and grabs Bede's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bede pushes down on Bundy's head and hops out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Bundy dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bundy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bede uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bundy.

Bede throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bundy thows a body shot but no joy. Bundy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bundy there as he acknowledges the shot. Bede avoids the body shot from Bundy.
Bundy stuns Bede with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bede throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Bundy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Bundy is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bede rather than just go for the knockout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bundy tries to score with a low kick but Bede moves his leg out of the way. Bundy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bundy takes a swing at Bede's ribcage but misses. Bundy displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. A combination from Bundy does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bundy checks the leg kick. Bede tries a head kick but it misses.
Bede throws a leg kick but Bundy checks it. Bede jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bundy scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Bundy throws a sloppy head kick and Bede moves out of range easily. Bundy stuns Bede with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bede keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bundy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bede moves away. Bede attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bundy has a takedown stuffed. Bede takes the fight into the clinch. Bundy scores with a hook to the body. Bede trying to stall but Bundy improves his position.

Bundy tries to stall but Bede uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bundy blocks an uppercut.
Bede lands a shoulder strike. A head punch on the inside from Bede fails to land. Bundy lands a body punch. Bede misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bundy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bundy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bede backwards. Bundy wants the takedown. Bede is fighting it off but Bundy persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bede's guard against the cage. Bundy postures up.
Bundy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bundy is trying to get an arm triangle but Bede is defending well. Bede is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bundy is controlling him well. Bede taking punishment in the form of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bundy connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bede some visible discomfort.
Bede can't do much from the bottom here. Bundy working the ground and pound. Bundy trying to control the action but Bede is working from the bottom. Bundy advances to mount. Bede tries to hold on but Bundy postures up. Bundy landing strikes from the mount. Bede tries to hold on but Bundy pushes him away. Bundy lands a heavy elbow. Bede is trying desperately to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bundy scoring with strikes but Bede is staying in there. Bundy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bede looks a forlorn figure.
Bede taking shots to the head. Bundy with the ground and pound from mount. Bundy with good strikes from the mount here! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bede is trying desperately to improve position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bundy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bede can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bundy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bede's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Bundy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

and Bede counters with a good low kick that Bundy was not able to check. Bundy moves away from the strike by Bede. Bundy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bede throws out the jab. Bundy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bede looks for the body kick but Bundy saw that one coming. Nice uppercut lands for Bundy. That snapped Bede's head back.
Bede takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Bundy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bundy working over Bede with some ground and pound. Bede looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bundy has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bede keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bundy landing strikes from the mount and Bede is in trouble! Bundy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. A nice elbow there by Bundy. Bundy lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bundy prevents Bede from getting the reversal. The referee warns Bede that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bede is rocked! Bede takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Oh Bede is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! A nice elbow there by Bundy. Bundy lands with some strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bundy landing strikes, looking to finish! Bundy landing punches. Bundy connects with a bit shot that sees Bede covering up! More strikes from Bundy and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bundy is our winner by TKO!
