The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter lands with a hook. Rekker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Carter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rekker moves away.

Rekker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Carter.
Carter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rekker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rekker somewhat.
Chase Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damon Rekker.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rekker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
