Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Ulpius Traianus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blood Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Welcome to the TerrorDome. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face throws a leg kick which misses Traianus's front leg but catches the back leg as Traianus tries to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Traianus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Traianus checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Face misses with a head kick.
Traianus avoids a kick to the body.
Face throws a low kick but Traianus avoids it.
Face lands with a kick to the temple. Traianus shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Marcus Ulpius Traianus has been cut.
Traianus swats away the attempt to clinch by Face.

Traianus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Face.

Face ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Traianus tries to bum rush Face with a series of wild strikes but Face uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Face fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Traianus.

Face throws a chopping leg kick but Traianus manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Face slips under a jab.
Face misses with a low kick.
Traianus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Face was well out of range. Poor timing from Traianus.
Face bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Traianus is breathing heavily.
Traianus throws a right and a left that both miss.
Traianus tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Face throws a head kick that misses.
A punch combination from Traianus misses.
Traianus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Face.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Face throws a sloppy head kick and Traianus moves out of range easily.

Face slips a jab and a cross from Traianus.
Traianus throws a right and a left that Face avoids nicely.
Face throws a wild body kick that Traianus sees coming a mile off.

Face throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Face.
Face misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Face lands a nice leg kick that just misses Traianus's sensitive parts.

Face tries a low kick but Traianus avoids it.
Traianus throws out a loose jab but Face uses good head movement to avoid it.
Face fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Traianus.

Traianus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Face misses with a kick to the body.
Face throws the kick towards the body but Traianus avoids it.

Face lands with a kick to the temple. Traianus shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Marcus Ulpius Traianus's cut is getting worse.
Face moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Blood Face seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Face lands a head kick. Traianus smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Face finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Face throws a nice inside leg kick.
Face lands a nice leg kick that just misses Traianus's sensitive parts.
Face throws a front kick aimed at Traianus's knee but Traianus avoids it well.
Face feints and then cracks Traianus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Traianus down.
Traianus on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Face. Face obviously looking to wear him down.
Traianus checks the leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Traianus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Face - the referee stops the clock and Traianus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Face. Traianus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Traianus is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Jeez, Marcus Ulpius Traianus's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marcus Ulpius Traianus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Blood Face!
