Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Micro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bond's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, james bond theme tune. Micro has chosen Down From The Skies as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Micro swats away the attempt to clinch by Bond.

Bond throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Micro was covering up waiting for the punch and Bond finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Micro is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Micro wants to sweep here but Bond controlling him for the moment.
Bond trying to control the position from guard on top but Micro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bond would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bond wants to get up but he can't break Micro's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Micro is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bond is trying to maintain a safe position but Micro gets an underhook and turns Bond into the cage.
Bond stops a takedown attempt from Micro.
Bond prevents Micro from breaking the clinch.
Micro misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bond.
Bond tries for a takedown but Micro manages to get underhooks.

James Bond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rey Micro.

Micro jumps guard and drags Bond to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bond wants to control from the top but Micro keeps moving.

Bond slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Bond decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Micro looks gassed!
Micro shoots for a double leg takedown but Bond sprawls well. He's pushed Micro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Micro tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Bond breaks from the clinch.
Bond shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Micro as he avoids it easily.

Bond drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Micro is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Bond wants to lay and pray for a moment but Micro keeps working.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Micro can do anything to dispel that myth.
Micro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bond wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bond decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Bond dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Micro throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Bond counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Micro's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bond seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Micro looking to control but Bond passes into half guard.
Micro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Micro is looking to control Bond's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Micro avoid being mounted?

Bond trying to control from half guard but Micro is working away.
Micro is breathing heavily.
Well, if Bond is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bond is thwarting Micro's attempts to control the position.
Micro wants to get back to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bond perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Micro is not content to let Bond control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bond fails to land the takedown.
Micro has his takedown stuffed

and Bond counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bond would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Bond wants to control from the top but Micro keeps moving.

Bond is pushing down on Micro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Micro is fighting to maintain full guard but Bond has managed to sneak the leg through.
Micro tries to roll over but Bond keeps him under control.
Micro looks like he's trying to stand up.

Bond is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Micro defends it well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Bond seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Micro is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
