Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tennis Tim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Juan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tennis Tim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marlo Juan! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juan clinches with his opponent.
Tim is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Juan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Juan comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Tennis Tim has been cut. Juan pulls Tim into guard.
Juan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tim defends well. Juan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Juan wants to stand but Tim is controlling the position. Tim has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Juan is proving hard to escape from. Juan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Tim wants to control from the top but Juan keeps moving. Juan pulls Tim in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Juan looking for subs off his back but Tim has passed one foot through into half guard.
Tim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Juan tries to get to full guard but Tim has control of the leg. Juan makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Juan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tim.
Tim gets caught flat footed, as Juan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tim is trying to control the position but Juan postures up. Juan lands a couple of digs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tim wants to stand and escape but Juan is having none of it. Juan works a leg free and moves into half guard. Juan controlling the action here. Let's hope that Juan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Juan looks gassed! Tim trying to hold on to Juan's head to control him but Juan postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Juan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Juan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Tim is looking for a sweep. Juan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tim misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Juan is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Juan controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tim is working to get back to half guard.

Tim is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Juan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tim looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Tim that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marlo Juan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tennis Tim's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Juan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tim is trying to control but can't.

Tim keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Juan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Juan works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Juan lands a heavy elbow. Juan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tim looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Juan looking to secure an arm triangle but Tim defends it well. Juan cracks Tim with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tim prevents Juan from taking his back. Juan controlling his opponent. Marlo Juan has got the better of the ground game so far. Juan scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tim?
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Juan controlling from mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Juan punishing his opponent with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marlo Juan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tennis Tim's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Tim misses with a takedown attempt and Juan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Juan. Juan controlling from the top position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Marlo Juan just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Juan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Juan is stalling in the full guard. Juan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tim is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Juan, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Juan holds on and takes a little breather. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Juan wants to sweep here but Tim controlling him for the moment. Juan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Tim trying to stand up but can't free himself from Juan's guard. Juan kicks Tim off and gets to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Juan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Juan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Juan lands a high kick!
Tim has his takedown stuffed and Juan counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Juan is stalling in the full guard.

Juan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Juan gets a takedown into half guard. Juan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Juan wants to pass the guard but Tim is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tim taking some punishment here, with Juan in his half guard. Tim is trying to control but can't.
Well, if Juan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Juan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tim has managed to free his arm - good work.
And that's the end of the fight! Marlo Juan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Juan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
