Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Poushin Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdul Jakul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakamura comes to the cage accompanied by fear of the dark. Nakamura is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The key to victory for Poushin Nakamura has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Poushin Nakamura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Abdul Jakul! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakul punishes Nakamura's body with a nice straight punch. Nakamura looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Jakul closes the distance and clinches. Jakul is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Jakul is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A hook to the body from Jakul.
Jakul lands with a light punch inside. A short right from Jakul. Jakul breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jakul rushes Nakamura and presses him up against the cage. Jakul pushes Nakamura back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Jakul makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Jakul scores a nice knee to the body.
Jakul breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jakul goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Poushin Nakamura has been cut. Jakul instigates a clinch. Jakul lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Jakul pushes Nakamura back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Jakul successfully pulls guard.
Nakamura has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jakul has his feet on Nakamura's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Nakamura takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jakul's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jakul duly obliges. Jakul shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jakul putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Jakul controlling his opponent. Jakul breaks from Nakamura's wrist control and lands an elbow. Jakul controlling his opponent. Jakul has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. A nice elbow there by Jakul. Nakamura might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jakul controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jakul lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Jakul looking to control and managing it successfully. Jakul is in the full mount, landing strikes. Jakul content just to control the position here. Jakul raining down shots from the mount! Jakul tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jakul scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Nakamura?
Nakamura knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jakul on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Jakul. Jakul landing strikes from the mount and Nakamura is in trouble! Jakul postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Nakamura looks a forlorn figure.
Jakul putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Jakul content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Jakul has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Nakamura has left one of his arms exposed and Jakul doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Nakamura screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
