Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Brawler Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josefski Slabadavski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawler Jr comes to the cage accompanied by "Hard Knock Life" Dr. Evil & Mini Me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Will Brawler Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josefski Slabadavski!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slabadavski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Brawler Jr!

Brawler Jr bucks Slabadavski off and manages to get back to his feet!
Slabadavski keeps the fight on the outside.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Brawler Jr lands a left and a right that send Slabadavski crashing to the mat, dazed. Brawler Jr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Slabadavski uses his free foot to push down on Brawler Jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Brawler Jr.

BOOM! Slabadavski connects with a massive shot to the dome!

so Slabadavski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Slabadavski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Slabadavski is nestled in close to Brawler Jr, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Slabadavski is pressing down on Brawler Jr's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brawler Jr is holding on for now.
