The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Johnson.
Gonzalez is looking for a sweep.
Gonzalez wants to control but Johnson postures up.

Johnson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gonzalez some visible discomfort.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
