The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorpe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carwin.
Thorpe could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Carwin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Carwin connects with a nice cross there... Thorpe is looking wobbly and Carwin recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Thorpe to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Carwin jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
