Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fou Freedomfighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hammerhead Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mexican Hat Dance. Hammerhead Sanchez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Fou Freedomfighter's chin.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freedomfighter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanchez's waist but Sanchez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Freedomfighter off to one side.
Sanchez moves out of range as Freedomfighter strikes.
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sanchez wants to take a breather but Freedomfighter is having none of it.
Freedomfighter is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanchez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Freedomfighter is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Freedomfighter has escaped and now he's on top!

Sanchez wants to stand but Freedomfighter has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Sanchez is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Freedomfighter has managed to free his arm - good work.
Freedomfighter gets full guard.
Freedomfighter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sanchez wants to stand but Freedomfighter has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Freedomfighter has his foot on Sanchez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sanchez works his way back into a safe position though.
Sanchez has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Freedomfighter is proving hard to escape from.

Sanchez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sanchez tries to pass to full mount but Freedomfighter defends it.

Sanchez is trying to control the action in half guard but Freedomfighter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Freedomfighter wants to sweep here but Sanchez controlling him for the moment.
Sanchez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Freedomfighter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sanchez has Freedomfighter in his guard.
Freedomfighter wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving.

Freedomfighter is keen to just control but Sanchez is a slippery customer.
Freedomfighter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sanchez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Freedomfighter.

Freedomfighter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sanchez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Sanchez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Freedomfighter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Freedomfighter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sanchez is posturing up here but Freedomfighter has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Sanchez tries to roll out but it's too tight and Sanchez has to tap! Slick submission there by Freedomfighter!
