Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Schindler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pinoy Pride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schindler comes to the cage accompanied by Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pride shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Schindler's guard.
Schindler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pride is one step ahead there.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pride accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pride throws a strike but Schindler rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pride misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pride has Schindler up against the cage in a clinch.
Schindler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Schindler shoots in looking for a takedown. Pride tries to sprawl out of it but Schindler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pride manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Schindler is just content to waste time from the top position. Pride takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Pride is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Schindler counters with a three punch combo that has Pride backing up. Pride nods at Schindler to acknowledge the strikes.

Schindler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Schindler showed some decent athleticism there.
Pride really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schindler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Schindler wants to work for an arm triangle but Pride is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well Schindler has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
