Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donny Meyers Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Liddell had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Donny Meyers Jr was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Meyers Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Liddell swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Meyers Jr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Liddell!
Liddell is bucking up trying to escape but Meyers Jr cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Liddell is squirming around, avoiding Meyers Jr's attempts to control the action.
Meyers Jr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Liddell looks a forlorn figure.
Meyers Jr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Liddell is breathing heavily.
Meyers Jr loads up with a big shot that hurts Liddell! He's pulled Meyers Jr in close but Meyers Jr has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Liddell survive? More strikes from Meyers Jr and Liddell is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
