Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Travis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jame Lacaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jame Lacaro is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Travis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jame Lacaro! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lacaro stuffs the takedown. Travis tries for a takedown but Lacaro sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lacaro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Travis shoots in for a double leg but Lacaro sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Travis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Travis throws a head kick but Lacaro moves out of range.
Shane Travis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Travis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lacaro but Lacaro pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lacaro dodges the punch combination from Travis.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Travis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lacaro swivels and escapes. Travis throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Travis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lacaro pinned against the cage. Lacaro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Travis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Travis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Travis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Travis missing with a left hand there. Lacaro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. No luck for Travis with that takedown attempt. Travis is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Travis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Travis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Travis tries to close the distance and clinch but Lacaro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Travis tries to clinch up. Travis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lacaro paws at him with a jab and circles away. Travis shoots in but Lacaro avoids the takedown attempt easily. Travis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lacaro tries to avoid it but Travis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lacaro to the ground. Lacaro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lacaro lands with a kick to the temple. Travis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's three minutes gone in the round. Travis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lacaro is not content to let Travis control the position. Lacaro is trying to control but can't.
Travis looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Well, if Travis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Travis seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lacaro is refusing to be controlled, as Travis sits in half guard. Lacaro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Travis's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Travis's back! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lacaro biding his time, controlling Travis. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jame Lacaro dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nice sprawl there from Lacaro as Travis shoots in. Travis throws the kick towards the body but Lacaro avoids it. Travis throws a head kick that misses and Lacaro counters with a solid body kick. Travis throws a head kick that misses and Lacaro counters with a big head kick but Travis shrugs it off. Travis clinches but Lacaro breaks the clinch and Lacaro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Travis throws a head kick that misses and Lacaro counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Travis doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lacaro finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Travis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Travis tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lacaro counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Travis misses with a kick to the body and Lacaro counters with a lovely shot to the body. Travis tries to clinch but fails miserably and Lacaro counters with a head kick. Travis tries for a takedown but Lacaro circles away easily and Lacaro counters with a left and a right... And another left! Travis is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jame Lacaro!
