Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hiroishi Strichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshi Zuko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strichi comes to the cage accompanied by Pegasus Fantasy. Zuko has chosen Turning Japanese as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hiroishi Strichi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenshi Zuko! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strichi takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Strichi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Zuko. Strichi stuffs the takedown. Strichi throws a hook but Zuko blocks it. Some wild striking there from Strichi.
Zuko throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Strichi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Zuko throws a series of punches but Strichi moves out of range. Zuko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Strichi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zuko was well out of range. Poor timing from Strichi. Strichi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zuko.
Zuko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Strichi sprawls well initially but Zuko persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Zuko seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strichi is pressing down on Zuko's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Zuko looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Zuko trying to control but Strichi is working from the bottom. Zuko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Strichi is keeping the position for now. Zuko controls from within his opponent's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kenshi Zuko. Strichi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zuko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Strichi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Zuko.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strichi won't allow Zuko to pass to mount. Strichi is not content to let Zuko control the position. Strichi won't allow Zuko to pass to mount. Strichi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zuko. Strichi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Strichi attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Zuko throws a series of strikes that have Strichi backpedaling.

Zuko throws a series of punches but Strichi moves out of range. Zuko drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zuko lands some shots froms side control. Zuko trying to control the position but Strichi is working away. Zuko lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zuko controlling the position. Zuko with the ground and pound but Strichi regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Zuko throwing shots but Strichi is blocking nicely. Zuko throwing shots but Strichi is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Zuko looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Zuko is trying to control. Strichi wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Zuko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Strichi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Zuko. Zuko is figuring out what he wants to do next. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenshi Zuko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Strichi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zuko to score an easy takedown into full guard. Zuko missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Strichi keeping moving, preventing Zuko from controlling successfully. Zuko is looking to work some ground and pound but Strichi has wrist control. Zuko trying to control the position from guard on top but Strichi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zuko slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zuko lands a nice forearm strike. Zuko looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Strichi is letting Zuko control him for a moment. Strichi is not content to let Zuko control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kenshi Zuko. A solid leg kick lands there for Zuko.
Zuko misses with a two punch combination.
Zuko connects with a crisp jab. Strichi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strichi walks into a straight right hand from Zuko. Strichi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Zuko counters with a shoot takedown. Strichi fights it but they end up in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Zuko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Strichi is keeping the position for now. Zuko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Zuko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kenshi Zuko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Zuko is stalling in the full guard. Let's hope that Zuko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Hiroishi Strichi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zuko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Kenshi Zuko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Zuko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
