Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogers tries to avoid it but Souza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogers to the ground. Rogers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rogers closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Kwan Souza has been cut.
Rogers moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Souza misses with a body kick.
Rogers pushes Souza up against the cage in a clinch.
Souza wants a takedown.
Rogers tries to score a body lock takedown but Souza shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Souza wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Souza gets underhooks to prevent Rogers's takedown attempt.

Souza breaks Rogers's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Souza wants to work for an arm triangle but Rogers is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Souza is thwarting Rogers's attempts to control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rogers looks like he's trying to stand up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Poor strikes thrown by Souza there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Souza is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Souza uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rogers.

Rogers is pressed up against the cage. Souza has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rogers down to the mat. Rogers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Souza shoots for a double leg takedown but Rogers sprawls well. He's pushed Souza's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Souza wants to clinch up but Rogers keeps it at a distance.

Souza has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Souza wants to clinch but Rogers slips to the side
and Rogers counters with a nice uppercut.
Eddie Rogers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Souza moves in looking to clinch but Rogers pushes him off.

Souza bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Souza decides to stand back up. Souza steps back and let's Rogers get back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eddie Rogers will probably get the nod.

Souza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rogers swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rogers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Souza wants to control but Rogers is keeping him busy.

Souza fails in his attempt to clinch.
Souza goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Rogers has picked Souza up - he's going for a ride! Rogers dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Rogers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Souza on the ground.
Souza regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Rogers.

Eddie Rogers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Souza is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Souza thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rogers's head.

Kwan Souza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Rogers has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
