Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cory Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brizenick Chagaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cory Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brizenick Chagaus! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chagaus slips a straight right by Scott. Scott shoots in but Chagaus avoids the takedown attempt easily. Scott has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Chagaus slow jab from Scott misses its intended target. Scott throws a hook but Chagaus avoids it easily. Chagaus with a lazy takedown attempt and Scott counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Chagaus has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Scott has passed into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scott can do anything to dispel that myth. Chagaus looks gassed! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Chagaus is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chagaus is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Scott takes a little break here. Chagaus wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Scott advances to mount. Scott controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chagaus is trying to reverse the position but instead Scott has taken his back - oops! Scott is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Scott has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chagaus holding both Scott 's hands and preventing any damage. Scott controls the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chagaus is fending him off so far but Scott persists. Nope, Chagaus circles away and we're back to standing. Chagaus looks for a takedown here. Brizenick Chagaus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott looks for a takedown but Chagaus sprawls well. Chagaus stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cory Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scott closes the distance and clinches up with Chagaus, looking for a takedown. Scott pushes Chagaus against the cage but Chagaus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chagaus darts in and clinches Scott up against the cage. Chagaus throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Scott blocks it with crossed arms. Scott tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Scott wants to get back to striking at distance but Chagaus won't allow it.
Chagaus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chagaus throws a wild body kick that Scott sees coming a mile off. Scott closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chagaus circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. A choreographed right hand from Scott misses the target. Chagaus doesn't manage to clinch there - Scott circles away.
Scott looks to score with a jab to the body but Chagaus is just out of range. Chagaus wants to clinch. Scott tries to clinch and Chagaus moves into the clinch. Scott drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chagaus pulls his leg out and moves away.
Chagaus misses with a takedown attempt and Scott counters with a takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chagaus is trying to improve his position. Scott controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A control attempt from Chagaus but he's now mounted! Scott sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Chagaus wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. What can Chagaus do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Chagaus has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Scott controls the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cory Scott dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Chagaus tries to clinch but Scott moves out of range. Chagaus forces Scott back against the cage and clinches. Chagaus's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Scott tries to pull guard but Chagaus holds him up against the cage and eventually Scott drops back down to his feet.
Scott is trying to break free. Chagaus pulls guard. Scott stands up from Chagaus's guard - Scott perhaps looking for a knockout. Scott misses with a takedown attempt and Chagaus finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Scott shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Scott showed some decent athleticism there. Scott seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chagaus wants to get back to full guard. Scott is taking a breather. Chagaus says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Chagaus is looking to escape. Scott performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Scott is thwarting Chagaus's attempts to control the position. Chagaus wants to sweep but Scott has passed to side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chagaus is trying to improve his position. A lull in the action here. Scott decides to stand back up. Scott steps back and let's Chagaus get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Chagaus throws a nice looking combination but Scott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Scott pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A combination from Chagaus does no damage. Chagaus fails to land the takedown. Scott shoots in but Chagaus avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cory Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scott checks the leg kick. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chagaus drives through and clinches with Scott against the cage.
Brizenick Chagaus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A nice right hand lands inside from Chagaus. Chagaus tries to land a knee to the head but Scott blocks with his arms.
And that's the end of the fight! Cory Scott showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Scott, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
