The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riku fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck for Riku with that takedown attempt.
Riku shoots for a double leg takedown but Progbeniak sprawls well. He's pushed Riku's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Markito Riku. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Riku.
Progbeniak sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Progbeniak keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Progbeniak is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Riku's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Riku's back!
Riku is trying to get back to his feet but Progbeniak has full control of the position and if anything, Riku has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Progbeniak working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Riku is doing well to defend. Progbeniak seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Riku is forced to tap and this one is over!
