The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nueve just misses with a punch to the body.
Sanchez throws a nice looking combination but Nueve bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nueve tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanchez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nueve somewhat.
A punch combination from Sanchez misses.
Sanchez stuffs the takedown attempt from Nueve. Nueve gets slowly back to his feet.
Nueve ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sanchez moves away.
Nueve gets the takedown into side control.
Nueve tries for a kimura but Sanchez is defending well.
Nueve is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sanchez looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nueve gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sanchez is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nueve lets go of the hold and Sanchez can pop his arm back in it's socket.
