Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vade Steamboat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steamboat's entrance music is Enter Sandman. A fine choice. Train has chosen Rammstein - Feuer Frei as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mike Train has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Vade Steamboat's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vade Steamboat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Train! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Steamboat with that takedown attempt. Steamboat misses with a takedown attempt - Train sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Train clinches with his opponent.
Steamboat has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Train avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vade Steamboat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Train lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Train escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Train lands a nice hook to Steamboat's body. Steamboat takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Train fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steamboat manages to avoid it. Steamboat fails with a takedown attempt. Train will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Steamboat fails with a takedown attempt. Train is looking to score with low kicks. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Steamboat checks a leg kick. Steamboat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Train's waist but Train gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steamboat off to one side. Steamboat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Train manages to avoid it. Steamboat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Train is fending him off so far but Steamboat persists. Nope, Train circles away and we're back to standing. Steamboat takes a swing at Train's ribcage but misses. Mike Train is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Train is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steamboat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Steamboat shoots in but no luck this time. Train wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Steamboat misses with a wild combination.
Steamboat fails with a takedown attempt. Train throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steamboat stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Steamboat swinging wilding here.
Steamboat takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steamboat keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Train. Steamboat tries to clinch there but Train circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Train as Steamboat shoots in. Train just misses with a punch to the body.
Train throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Train keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Steamboat takes a shot right to the bread basket. Train is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Steamboat rather than just go for the knockout. Steamboat has a takedown stuffed. Steamboat bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Steamboat tries for a takedown but Train sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Train misses with a hook to the body
so Steamboat counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Train keeping moving, preventing Steamboat from controlling successfully. Steamboat drops back, looking for a kneebar! Train looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Train looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Train! Steamboat is breathing heavily. Train looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Steamboat is avoiding damage well.
Steamboat tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Train wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Steamboat is working hard here to advance position. Train tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Train cracks Steamboat with a big right hand but Steamboat just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Steamboat regains half guard. Train wants to stand up but Steamboat has a hold of him and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Train dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Steamboat throws a sloppy body shot

Train wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Train tries to land a front kick but Steamboat steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Steamboat clinches but Train breaks the clinch and Train counters with a slapping leg kick. Steamboat with a poor takedown and Train counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Train takes a swing at Steamboat's ribcage but misses. Steamboat with a lazy takedown attempt and Train counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Train. Steamboat tries to pull guard but Train won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vade Steamboat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Train breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Steamboat misses with a takedown attempt and Train connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Steamboat shoots and misses and Train counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steamboat has his takedown stuffed enabling Train to counter with a crisp jab. Train throws a predictable looking body shot
and Steamboat counters with a single leg into guard. Train didn't expect that. Steamboat is standing up over Train. Train looks to escape but Steamboat dives into side control.
Train tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steamboat wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Train, who protects the arm well. Train is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Steamboat is controlling him well. Steamboat thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Train is looking to regain half guard here but Steamboat keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Train has control of an arm but Steamboat manages to advance to Steamboat's back! Steamboat throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Train is trying to break free.
Steamboat is trying to stick to Train's back but Train is turning into Steamboat. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Steamboat's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Train. Steamboat tries to land a sweep but no joy. Train scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Train has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Steamboat is proving hard to escape from. Train is working Steamboat over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Steamboat wants to sweep but no luck. Steamboat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Train regains full guard. Nicely done. Steamboat pushing down on Train's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Train manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Steamboat drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Train dives on top into guard. Train avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Steamboat is looking for a triangle but Train pushes his legs off easily.
Steamboat looking for a sweep. Not yet Steamboat, not yet. Train postures up in Steamboat's guard and throws a big left but Steamboat blocks it. Steamboat has his foot on Train's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Train works his way back into a safe position though. Steamboat has a closed guard, preventing Train from standing up. Train missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Train passes Steamboat's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Steamboat looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Train not landing any meaningful shots this time. Train slips a nice elbow through Steamboat's hands, connecting with Steamboat's forehead. Steamboat wants to get back to full guard but Train has mounted him! Train with good strikes from the mount here!
Steamboat is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Train is working for a guillotine from mount but Steamboat frees his head quite easily.
Oh Steamboat is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Steamboat can't escape the position.
Steamboat seems to have got his legs back now. Train can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Steamboat is looking to escape. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Train is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Steamboat has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Steamboat! Steamboat wants to control from the top but Train keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mike Train will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Steamboat with a poor takedown and Train counters with a slapping leg kick. Train throws a leg kick but Steamboat sees it coming and moves out of range. Steamboat looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Train is looking to improve his position.
Steamboat is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Train throws up some feeble strikes from the bottom. Steamboat smiles and locks on to an arm, pivoting beautifully as he drops to the side for an armbar. Train tries momentarily to escape but he knows he's done and taps furiously to avoid injury. Confident submission skills displayed there by Steamboat.
